K-pop girl group Blackpink have shared the lead single from their forthcoming sophomore LP Born Pink. The new song is called “Pink Venom,” and it arrives with a new music video. Paul Simon has been working on an album of new material at New York’s Reservoir Studios, but that’s not the only music he lent a hand with there this week. According to a Facebook post from cabaret singer Barbara Fasano, Simon, 80, guided her on a rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Old Friends” that was already in progress before she realized the rock legend was rolling tape in the same building. “We had laid down four tracks and were about to record ‘Old Friends,’ so how could I resist?,” wrote Fasano, a regular at New York jazz clubs such as Birdland. “Around 4:00, there was Mr. Simon having lunch in the communal kitchen. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have released “Tippa My Tongue,” the first single from their previously announced second album of this year, Return of the Dream Canteen. In the video for the song, singer Anthony Kiedis drops a RHCP-logo-shaped tab on his tongue, it all gets wacky and weird from there. For the first time since 2019, Ultra is returning to South Korea. Coming soon to Seoul is the ninth edition of the Ultra Korea EDM festival. After being forced to put the event on hold due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, organizers have now revealed the first phase of artists who will be taking the stage. Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, KSHMR, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, Sasha and Timmy Trumpet will dazzle the masses at this fall’s fest.
