Even Maisie Williams Thinks Game of Thrones “Definitely Fell Off at the End”

Maisie Williams doesn’t blame you if you checked out of Game of Thrones before the series finale: The actress admits she thinks the hit HBO show, which made her a household name, “definitely fell off at the end.” Williams, who played Arya Stark in all eight seasons of Game of Thrones, got candid about the series on a recent Twitch stream with her brother James: “Honestly, it kinda popped off,” she said of her recent rewatch of the show. “For the longest time… I could never see it from the outside. So I could never say that and actually understand it. For the first time, it feels good to be proud of it. It was 10 years of my life. It feels nice.” But even Winterfell’s greatest had to admit that GoT got tedious as it reached its final seasons. Thankfully, however, Williams see...

Maisie Williams Channels Her Inner Punk for the “Pistols” Press Tour

Maisie Williams certainly understood the assignment when it came to dressing for the “Pistols” press tour. The 25-year-old, who stars as Pamela “Jordan” Rooke in Danny Boyle’s six-part series about the turbulent years of British band The Sex Pistols, has been promoting the show wearing a number of looks that the punks would be proud of, and we are here for it. Fresh from the Met Gala, Williams attended the UK premiere last week wearing a gothic lace gown complete with intricate beading. Her iconic bleach-blonde hair was swept into a bun with rebellious spikes sprayed to stick out in order to keep her look from being too safe. With bold black eyeliner and those bleached eyebrows, Williams was the epitome of rockstar glam. And her punk-inspired wardrobe didnR...

Reuben Selby on His Spring 2022 London Fashion Week Collection and Working With Maisie Williams

It’s been over a year since an emerging designer was able to put on an in-person showcase at London Fashion Week, and on 12 June, the spell of isolation was finally lifted. London-based designer Reuben Selby presented his second collection at this year’s London Fashion Week — after his Paris Fashion Week debut was met with immense praise — and the result was undoubtedly inspiring (there were also some pretty special guests in attendance, including Griff and Bimini Bon Boulash). The spring/summer 2022 showcase was inspired by Selby’s mum’s home in the Philippines, as well as the cultural melting pot that is the city of London. Titled “Clash”, the genderless collection was made up of deadstock materials from The Fabric House and featured a striking green t...

The New Mutants is still targeting an August 28th release, though as a summer blockbuster season looks increasingly unlikely, fans shouldn’t be surprised if there’s yet another delay. Disney/20th Century must have figured fans have waited long enough for a good glimpse at the X-Men horror film, however, as they revealed a whole bunch of new footage during the New Mutants Comic-Con@Home panel — including the opening scene and a power-packed trailer.
